Terms of use
One set of terms for all apps, followed by the few things that are specific to each. They sit alongside Apple’s standard licence.
Last updated 6 October 2026
Licence
Apps downloaded from the App Store are licensed, not sold, to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies in full. These terms add detail and, where they genuinely conflict, Apple’s agreement governs your licence to use the software. Open-source apps (the macOS AI Usage Limits app, Masque, and the source of AI Usage Limits) are also available under the Apache 2.0 licence, as stated in their repositories.
By downloading or using an app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Purchases, free trials and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. I never see your payment details. The prices shown on each app’s App Store page, in your own currency, are the ones that apply, and they can change.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
- One-time and lifetime purchases belong to the Apple Account that made them. Use Restore Purchases on a new device. A lifetime purchase does not promise that the app will be published or updated forever.
- Refunds are decided by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. I cannot issue refunds.
Health and wellbeing
Deltion, Sthenos, Hex!s and Krasis are tools for organisation and self-awareness. None of them is a medical device or gives medical, dietary or mental-health advice, and nothing they show is a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified professional for medical decisions, and never delay seeking care because of something an app displayed.
Your data and backups
The apps have no accounts and I keep no copy of what you store in them, so I cannot recover it for you. Deleting an app, losing a device or resetting it can lose your data. Device backups and, where an app offers it, iCloud sync are the practical safeguards. See the privacy policy for what each app does with your data.
Acceptable use
Use the apps only for your own purposes, with accounts and records you are entitled to use. Do not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, reverse-engineer or tamper with an app beyond what the law expressly permits, or present an app’s output as a professional opinion.
Accuracy and warranty
The apps are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Results, scores, summaries and readings are approximate and can be wrong. I do not promise that an app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will keep working as Apple, third-party services or operating systems change.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, an app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, or liability that cannot be excluded.
Third-party services
Some apps connect to services you choose, such as an AI provider, your own Nextcloud server, or your Apple Account. Those services have their own terms, and you are responsible for following them. I am not responsible for their availability or conduct.
Changes
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live.

Terms for each app
The sections below apply in addition to the terms above.
FocusFence
FocusFence uses Apple’s Screen Time framework to block apps you choose. Whether blocking works depends on iOS: Apple can limit it, and another Screen Time app or a change in your Screen Time settings can switch it off. A rule set marked as locked cannot be paused for the period you chose; deleting the app or a Focus ending still lifts it.
It is a tool to help you focus. It does not guarantee that you will not use a blocked app, and it is for personal use by adults. Purchases are described under "Purchases" above.
Deltion
Deltion keeps your medical documents and reads values out of them. It does not give medical advice and does not replace your doctor. Summaries, extracted values and any AI output are produced by software and can be wrong, so check anything that matters against the original report. Reference ranges are typical adult ranges, not your laboratory’s. Deltion is not a certified medical device, not a diagnostic tool and not a radiology workstation.
There is no copy of your records on any server of mine and I cannot recover them. Keeping backups is your responsibility. If you add your own AI provider key, that provider’s terms and charges apply to what you send it. Use Deltion only for records you are entitled to hold.
Sthenos
Sthenos turns data from Apple Health into an estimated energy score. It is for personal wellness and self-awareness only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. The score is an estimate built from sensors that can be inaccurate. Do not rely on it for medical or safety decisions.
Panoptes
Panoptes analyses the App Privacy Report you export from your iPhone. Its findings are signals worth a look, not proof that an app is harmful or that your device is compromised. The optional reachability check connects from your device to the domains in your report, so use it only where you are comfortable doing that.
Hex!s
Hex!s is a habit tracker. Its strength scores and any suggestions are for motivation and self-awareness. They are not medical, mental-health or professional advice, and the app is not a medical device.
NC User Admin
NC User Admin lets Nextcloud administrators manage users and groups. Actions such as disabling an account or resetting a password take effect on your server immediately. Use it only on servers where you are authorised to administer accounts, and keep your own backups. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nextcloud GmbH.
iCard Store
iCard Store is a convenience for keeping card details on your own devices. It is not a payment instrument and does not replace your bank’s own security. You are responsible for your cards, your device passcode and any exports you make, and for keeping your own backups. I cannot recover lost cards or PINs.
Card fill sends card details to the website you have open in the in-app browser, so use it only on sites you trust. The app is independent and not affiliated with any bank or card network.
Krasis
Krasis is a wellbeing app, not a medical one. It gives no medical, dietary or nutritional advice and makes no health claims. Its verdicts are a general guide from a food table and will sometimes be wrong or fail to recognise a food. If you have a medical condition, an allergy or a particular dietary need, rely on a qualified professional.
Periplous
Periplous infers your travels from the dates and places in your photo metadata. Inference is not certainty: it can miss a trip, merge two, or place a stop imprecisely. You can correct anything by hand. It is not a record of where you have been in any official, legal or immigration sense. Do not use it for visa applications, tax residency, insurance claims or anything else where an error has consequences.
AI Usage Limits (iOS)
AI Usage Limits is an unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Cursor or OpenRouter. It reads usage figures through endpoints those providers do not document and through their public command-line sign-in clients, so it may stop working or conflict with a provider’s terms at any time. You use it at your own risk and with your own accounts only. The figures shown are informational and may be out of date or wrong; do not rely on them for billing. Source code is available under the Apache 2.0 licence.
AI Usage Limits (macOS)
The macOS menu bar app is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 licence, and the same unofficial-use points as the iOS app apply. It reads the sign-in credentials that Claude Code and Codex already keep on your Mac, and sends each only to its own provider. It may break whenever those tools or endpoints change.
Masque
Masque is a free, open-source macOS utility under the Apache 2.0 licence. It is not affiliated with Apple. Apple offers no public interface for Hide My Email, so Masque talks to the same private iCloud web endpoints as icloud.com. These can change or be blocked without notice, and using unofficial interfaces may be inconsistent with Apple’s iCloud terms. Use it only with an Apple Account you own, at your own discretion and risk. There is no guarantee of support, updates or continued availability.
